Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a vehicle recovery technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting vehicles efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. This role offers an excellent opportunity for those with experience in commercial driving and delivery services. Duties
* Handling incoming calls and job allocations
* Communicating with the Manager and customers
* Maintaining accurate job records and updates
Requirements:
* Good communication and telephone skills
* Strong organisational and multitasking ability
* Confident using a smartphone app for incoming jobs
* Ability to stay calm and work under pressure
* Previous vehicle recovery experience required
* Basic mechanical knowledge preferred
* Ideally hold a full, clean Category C driving licence
This role requires a responsible individual with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Applicants should be comfortable working independently while maintaining high standards of service.
The role will require the successful applicant to help with light mechanical repairs to the fleet of lorrys In down time.
