We're looking for a highly analytical and commercially minded Senior Performance Analyst to join our Performance Analytics team. Reporting to the Performance Analytics Manager, you will play a pivotal role in transforming operational data into meaningful insights that drive performance across the business. Acting as the lead for Power BI development and data-driven initiatives, you will partner with stakeholders across operations, transport, fleet, and technology teams to develop best-in-class reporting, visualisation, and business intelligence solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced data analyst ready to take on a more senior, project-focused role. While this position has no direct people management responsibilities, you will provide coaching, guidance, and support to junior analysts within the team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead Power BI reporting, dashboards, and BI projects across operations.
- Extract, analyse, and visualise data using SQL, Python, Databricks, and Power BI.
- Present actionable insights, trends, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Drive reporting automation and the transition to self-service BI solutions.
- Develop operational performance reporting to improve visibility and business performance.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify reporting, analytics, and automation opportunities.
- Promote BI best practices and continuous improvement.
- Support and mentor junior analysts, ensuring high-quality reporting standards.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Proven experience in a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Performance Analyst, Reporting Analyst, Operations Analyst, Technical Analyst, or Transport Analyst role.
- Strong project delivery and stakeholder management experience.
- Advanced Power BI, SQL, Python, and Databricks skills.
- Experience extracting, analysing, and visualising complex data from multiple sources.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Experience within logistics, transport, supply chain, operations, or FMCG environments is desirable
- Knowledge of Power Automate, Power Apps, APIs, M Query, and data modelling is advantageous
