We are currently seeking a talented, driven and experienced Sous Chef to strengthen our kitchen brigade. This is a key leadership role within the culinary team, supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional food across restaurant, weddings, events and seasonal offerings.
Responsibilities

Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.

Lead and motivate the kitchen, promoting consistency, quality and teamwork.

Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standard.

Maintain strong control over food quality, hygiene and health & safety procedures.

Assist with menu development, seasonal changes and special event menus.

Manage stock control, ordering and wastage to maintain GP targets.

Work collaboratively with front-of-house teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
Requirements
-
Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a high-quality restaurant or hotel environment.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.

Excellent knowledge of fresh, seasonal ingredients and modern cooking techniques.

Ability to perform under pressure in a busy service environment.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

A positive, proactive attitude and commitment to excellence.

Level 2 Food Hygiene (or equivalent) preferred.
