The Company is a well-established steel fabrication and engineering business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality bespoke products across the UK and internationally. Due to continued growth, the Company is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to lead its production workshop.
The Role
The Workshop Manager will oversee the day-to-day running of the workshop, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role, working closely with the management team to coordinate production, lead the workshop team, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage daily workshop production.
- Lead, motivate, and support the fabrication team.
- Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specification.
- Monitor quality, productivity, and workflow.
- Maintain Health & Safety standards and workshop organisation.
- Coordinate with the design, purchasing, and management teams.
- Resolve production issues and improve workshop efficiency.
About You
- Experience as a Workshop Manager, Production Supervisor, or similar.
- Strong background in steel fabrication, welding, or engineering manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of production planning, quality control, and Health & Safety.

Pay: £45,000.00-£52,000.00 per year
