Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Manage classroom routines to ensure a safe, organized, and inclusive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support student progress and well-being
- Lead group activities that encourage teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills
- Monitor each child's development and provide feedback to parents during regular meetings
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and classroom supplies
- Demonstrate leadership by guiding assistant teachers or volunteers in daily classroom operations
Skills
- Strong management and leadership abilities to oversee classroom activities and team members
- Experience working with children in early childhood or nursery settings
- Deep understanding of childcare principles and early childhood education best practices
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff
- Ability to foster a nurturing environment that supports children's growth and independence
- Valid driving license preferred for transporting children or attending off-site activities
- Proactive approach to safety protocols and emergency procedures
