Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Advisor
This role is 2 days per week, salary £45,000 pro-rated.

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Advisor to join our Compliance team based in Bathgate. Reporting to the Technical & Innovation Director, you will play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture, ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation, and driving continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert HSE advice and guidance to managers and colleagues.
- Conduct workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments.
- Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses, identifying corrective actions.
- Support environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives.
- Develop and promote safe working practices across the business.
What You Will Bring
- Previous experience in a Health, Safety & Environment role, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and best practice
- Excellent communication, influencing and organisational skills
- IOSH membership or working towards membership is desirable.

Experience:
- FMCG or Manufacturing: 3 years (preferred)
- HSE: 5 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- NEBOSH General Certificate (required)
