Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team in a residential care home. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are well-presented and meet our high standards. This position requires a commitment to delivering exceptional service and maintaining a positive atmosphere for both clients and colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including residents' bedrooms, ensuites, restrooms, corridors, communal wet room and bath room.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards within the specified timeframes.
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively.
- Advising the manager of any products that require ordering before running out
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management promptly.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address any specific cleaning requests or concerns.
Skills
- Proficiency in English to communicate clearly with clients and team members.
- Ability to drive is advantageous for roles that require travel between multiple locations.
- Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for clients.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and organisation.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and responsibility.
