A medium sized construction company based in London, has a vacancy for a Multi trade/Handyman position to look after properties that are still within their defect period and company portfolio.

Responsibilities
Can carry out a wide range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks including:
- Carpentry (e.g, door adjustments, shelving, flooring, replacing locks)
- Base plumbing (e.g, leaking taps, toilet repairs, unblocking drains)
- Painting and decorating
- Tiling, plaster patching and tape & jointing
- Basic electrical repairs (e.g, changing light fittings, sockets and identifying issues with electrics
- Roof repairs, guttering and downpipes
- Ensure all works are carried out safely and to a high standard
- Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicles in a good condition
- Comply with all health and safety procedures and site rules
- Liaise with tenants, clients or site managers to ensure satisfaction of works completed
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials
Qualifications
- Proven experience in multiple trades (minimum 2-3 years)
- Relevant qualifications or NVQs desirable (e.g. Level 2 in Carpentry, Plumbing or similar)
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to work independently and problem solve on site
- Clean full UK driving licence
- Good communication and customer service skills
- CSCS card (Blue for Skilled Worker)
Working Conditions
- May involve working indoors/outdoors in varying environments
- Occasional travel between sites if mobile
- May include early starts, late finishes & weekend availability
- Out of hours for emergencies, if required
- Company van
- Works in London postcodes and within the M25
