HGV Class 1 Driver Job Role – Tramping
We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team . This is a full-time role operating Monday to Friday, with pay rates ranging from £170 to £200per day. I’m Self-employed drivers are welcome to apply.
Job Responsibilities
- Amazon tramping
- Vehicle Inspections: Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance issues.
- Compliance: Adhere to all legal requirements, including tachograph and drivers’ hours regulations, as well as Tarmac’s health and safety standards.
- Loading and Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading where required, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Professional Conduct . professionalism and maintain excellent communication with customers and colleagues.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery paperwork, including delivery notes and logbooks.
Requirements
1. Licenses and Certifications:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license.
- Up-to-date Driver CPC qualification.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
2. Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles.
- Experience with tippers, bulk tankers, or flatbeds (preferred but not essential).
3. Skills and Attributes:
- Strong knowledge of transport and safety regulations.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to job requirements and schedules.
Job Details
- Pay Rate: £170 - £200 per day.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday.
- Contract: Open to both employed and self-employed drivers.
