We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Lead Electrician / Site Supervisor to become part of our Field Delivery Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a high-calibre individual to join and strengthen our team. Working on a wide range of electrical infrastructure and ICP (Independant Connection Provider) Projects.
As well as delivering electrical contracating solutions, you will be assisting in the installation of main connections to the electrical power network, including new utility connections, cable laying, pulling and substation installations.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Interpreting Technical Drawings, Risk Assessments and Method Statements and complete installaion to DNO design standards and the BS761 18th Edition wiring regulations, including relevant guidance note directives.
- Follow written and verbal procedures to deliver quality workmanship in accordance with the company's health and safety and compliance standards.
- Responsibility for all aspects of Safety, Health and Environment relevant to this role.
- Ability to follow set project plans and complete the works within set and agreed timeframes.
- Provide clear and concise feedback to the Senior Project Delivery Manager and Office regarding out comes works.
- Continously work towards providing the best possible task outcomes for client satisfaction.
- Support the business managment agenda on Health, Safety and Quality monitoring.
- Ensure all activities on Site are completed in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain and upkeep all CPD training portfolio items.
Essential
- City & Guilds - Electrical Installations - Level 2, Level 3 or Electrical Power Engineering (2304).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulation Certified.
- First Aid trained
- ECS, CSCS or EUSR trained
- A competent level of English for written and spoken communication required to relay important information safety and effively to team members and clients.
- Candidate must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
Desirable
- City & Guilds - Initial and Periodic Electrical Inspection and Testing (2391).
- PASMA or IPAF Licence - Desirable.
- Substatin entry, LV and HV competencies.
- Full clean Driving Licence.
- Computer / Tablet Literate.
- Provide and expected Miimum required Toolkit.
A Company Uniform and PPE will be issued and will be expected to be worn. You will also be required to uphold a valid DBS certificate which the company will obtain.
