Multi Trade Operative
Location: Leicester
Salary: £34,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
Contract: Permanent
We are recruiting for 2 x Multi Trade Operatives to join a reputable housing provider covering Leicester and surrounding areas.
The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out responsive repairs, maintenance, and void property works within social housing properties. Work will be allocated as close to your home location as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out responsive repairs and void property refurbishments.
- Complete a range of maintenance tasks including basic plumbing, carpentry, tiling, plastering, painting and decorating.
- Undertake kitchen and bathroom repairs.
- Carry out UPVC repairs and general maintenance works.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs within agreed timescales.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Use PDA/mobile devices to manage and complete work orders.
- Maintain accurate records of works completed and materials used.
- Deliver excellent customer service when working in occupied properties.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Multi Trade Operative, Multi Trader, or Maintenance Operative.
- Experience within social housing, property maintenance, or repairs.
- Skilled across a range of trades including carpentry, plumbing, decorating, tiling, and plastering.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
