We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals who can provide outstanding levels of customer service at Scarborough Spa.

Scarborough Spa is situated in the South Bay, Scarborough. The venue is used for conferences, exhibitions, entertainment, live music and events such as the Scarborough Spa Orchestra and the annual Scarborough Jazz Festival.

The role
As a Technician, you will assist in the day-to-day running and delivery of the facilities, entertainments & functions provided by the Service and to ensure that the front line operation provides excellent customer service.
Your duties will include:
- To assist in the supervision of organisations/theatre companies using the Scarborough Spa, to ensure the safe use of equipment. Follow the Council health and safety policies, safe working methods and industry good practice.
- To assist in the daily maintenance of the equipment in the plant rooms and technical areas and to ensure that these areas are kept clear and tidy and free from waste and litter.
- Set up and operate sound, lighting, AV and other performance and event technical equipment where required.
- Assist in ensuring that the buildings are open and any equipment is ready for use at the designated times.
- Erection/dismantling of any stages, platforms, backdrops, scenery, sets etc
