Stockport | Full-Time, Permanent
We're looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and customer-focused Trainee Lettings Negotiator to join our well-established and successful independent estate agency. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a rewarding career in property, with full training, ongoing support, and genuine opportunities to progress.
What Makes This Role Different
- Your own dedicated Assistant handling calls and admin, so you can focus on learning rather than firefighting paperwork.
- A company car during working hours to get you where you need to be.
- A dedicated Viewing Representative supporting viewings, so your energy goes into learning the role and building client relationships, not logistics.
The Role
You'll be trained from the ground up across every stage of the lettings process, working alongside an experienced team who'll show you the ropes while you help deliver a smooth, professional experience for landlords and tenants alike.
- Building and nurturing your own applicant database, matching prospective tenants with the right properties.
- Learning to manage the lettings process from first enquiry through to move-in.
- Supporting tenant applications and referencing.
- Keeping landlords and tenants informed at every step.
- Working closely with our Property Management team to coordinate move-ins.
- Delivering great customer service and building genuine client relationships.
- Working towards, hitting, and exceeding individual and team KPIs.
What We Offer
- Full training and ongoing support, no previous property experience required.
- A dedicated Assistant and Viewing Representative to support your workload as you learn.
- Company car access during working hours.
- A genuine route to progress for ambitious people who put the work in.
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday, 09:00–17:30, and Friday, 09:00–17:00. The role also requires working one Saturday in every four from 10:00–14:00, with time off in lieu provided for each Saturday worked.
About You
- No previous property experience required, full training provided.
- Full UK driving licence.
- A positive, proactive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Confident communication and strong people skills.
- Open to feedback and eager to grow.
- Motivated to succeed in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
If you're looking to build a long-term career with an independent estate agency that invests in its people and rewards hard work, we'd love to hear from you.
