We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Manager to join the team at Zenith Nurseries. In this role, you will support our Technical Department in maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality assurance, and compliance across our operations.

As Technical Manager, you will play a key part in protecting product integrity, supporting continuous improvement, and helping us deliver safe, consistent, and trusted food.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong understanding of food safety and quality principles
- Excellent attention to detail
- Clear communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Experience with BRC audits
- Experience with Ready to Eat Factory Operations
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintaining and organising technical food safety documentation
- Training staff in food safety, hygiene, GMP and allergen controls
- Conducting shelf‑life studies and preparing trend analysis reports
- Supporting the development, implementation and maintenance of HACCP, QA programs, SOPs, SSOPs, GMPs and food security systems
- Assisting with 3rd‑party audit preparation, follow‑up actions and daily internal audits
- Investigating customer complaints and managing corrective actions
- Developing raw material specifications
- Providing technical support to production, purchasing and sales teams
- Coordinating quality, production and maintenance activities during audits
- Conducting daily hygiene, sanitation and quality walk‑throughs
