We are seeking a hardworking and reliable individual to join our busy workshop team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply primer coatings to timber products to a high standard.
- Loading and unloading vans
- Confidently drive 16-foot long flatbed trucks if required, for local deliveries and occasional long-distance city routes.
- Assist in the workshop, including catching timber from machines, general cleaning tasks, and manual handling of materials.
- Safely store and organise timber and other materials by hand.
- Would be reliable for making the cups of tea at break times for the other employees.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Confident and experienced with large vehicle driving.
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting, as the role is physically demanding and active.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow safety procedures.
