Guildford Dental Centre is a modern, private four-surgery practice with over 20 years of experience, providing high-quality, compassionate dental care in a welcoming and supportive environment.
While we have the friendly, close-knit feel of a local practice, we are also part of the Envisage Dental UK Group, giving our team access to the support, resources, development opportunities and wider expertise of an established dental group.
We’re passionate about investing in both our people and our practice. We support our colleagues to develop their skills and are committed to creating an environment where everyone has the opportunity to grow and thrive.
We’re also currently renovating and investing in the practice, making this an exciting time to join the team and be part of our next chapter.
We are happy to consider both part-time and full-time applicants.
Part-time: Monday to Wednesday, 7:45am–5:00pm
Full-time: Monday to Friday, 7:45am–5:00pm
All shifts include a one-hour unpaid lunch break, and there is no weekend working.
Our location makes commuting particularly easy, with the practice situated directly opposite Guildford train station and just a five-minute walk from the main bus station.
As a Dental Nurse, you’ll work alongside experienced clinicians and the wider practice team to provide excellent clinical and patient support.
You’ll have the opportunity to gain experience across a wide range of private treatments, including implants, periodontics and oral surgery, while developing your clinical knowledge and confidence within a supportive team environment.
Your responsibilities will include providing high-quality chairside support during a variety of treatments, preparing and maintaining surgeries and clinical areas, and ensuring equipment and materials are ready for treatment.
You’ll carry out decontamination and instrument processing in line with practice procedures, support effective infection prevention and control, maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation, and help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
Most importantly, you’ll play an important role in ensuring every patient feels welcomed, comfortable and well cared for throughout their treatment journey.

- A positive team player who enjoys working collaboratively and supporting others.
- Committed to maintaining high standards of infection prevention, decontamination and patient safety.
- Proactive and keen to continue developing their clinical knowledge and skills.
- Passionate about delivering an excellent patient experience.
Previous experience within a private dental practice would be advantageous, particularly experience across a range of treatments, although we would welcome applications from Dental Nurses looking to develop their experience within a supportive environment.
- Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
- Flexible part-time or full-time working options.
- Monday–Friday working pattern with no weekend working.
- Fully funded CPD and post-graduate courses.
- GDC registration and indemnity covered.
- Employee dental discount.
- Additional paid day off for your birthday.
- Generous employee referral bonuses.
- Uniform provided.
- Company pension scheme.
- Supportive, friendly and collaborative team environment.
- Approachable management and experienced clinical colleagues.
- Opportunities to develop your skills across a wide range of private treatments.
