Job Description:
The Accounts Assistant will provide support to the finance team, based in our Glasgow office. This role works closely with the Finance Manager to carry out a host of administrative activities for Swietelsky Construction and HNRC Swietelsky.
The role requires someone with strong communication skills, commercial awareness and common sense who understands the pressures of an operational environment and knows how and when to support.
Key Responsibilities / Role Specification
SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Overseeing the shared finance mailbox and responding to supplier enquiries.
· Matching invoice to Valid Purchase order in Progress Plus.
· Process Purchase Invoices into Eurofib.
· Supplier Statement Reconciliations.
· Collate the Credit Card expenses ensuring correct supporting documentation and enter into Eurofib.
· Support the Accountant when required.
· Provide support to other members of the Finance Team where required and in periods of absence of a member of the team.
PERSONAL SPECIFICATION:
· Good knowledge of IT systems, including Word, Excel and Outlook
· Ability to work well in a team
· Ability to effectively plan and organise
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in a finance team preferred
