Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Head Barista to lead our coffee and beverage team with energy and expertise. Duties
- Lead and supervise the barista team to ensure efficient, friendly service and adherence to quality standards
- Oversee food and beverage preparation, including coffee brewing, food presentation, and ensuring food safety compliance
- Manage daily operations of the coffee station, including inventory control, stock replenishment, and cleanliness standards
- Train new team members on food preparation techniques, serving protocols, and safety procedures
- Foster a positive team environment through mentorship, motivation, and effective communication
- Ensure compliance with health regulations related to food production and kitchen safety
- Collaborate with management to develop menu offerings that highlight culinary creativity and customer preferences
Requirements
- Proven experience in barista roles with demonstrated leadership or supervisory responsibilities
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques within hospitality or restaurant settings
- Hands-on experience with food safety standards and food production processes
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Knowledge of hospitality operations, including serving, kitchen workflows, and customer service excellence
- Previous experience in restaurant or hotel environments preferred
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and operational efficiency
