We are seeking motivated and experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely delivering goods efficiently across various locations.
This role offers a variety of ongoing work, including trunking, tramping, and store deliveries. With Day & Night shifts available, this is a great opportunity for drivers looking for full or part time work. Immediate starts available for the right candidates.
Duties
- Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each shift to ensure optimal safety and compliance
- Following WTD and driver hours regulations
- Ensure proper securing of goods for safe transit
- Maintaining accurate paperwork and delivery records
- Communicate effectively with transport team and resolve any issues promptly
- Maintain a clean and professional vehicle appearance, adhering to company standards
What you need
- Minimum 2 yrs experience
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license with no more than 6 points
- Current CPC & digital tachograph card
- Strong understanding of WTD
- Reliable, safety‑focused attitude
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to loading/unloading when required
