Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Fencing Specialist to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of fencing projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sites. Your expertise will help ensure safety, privacy, and aesthetic appeal for our clients. Responsibilities
- Measure and mark fencing layouts accurately according to project specifications and site plans
- Operate hand tools and power tools to cut, assemble, and install fencing materials such as wood, metal, vinyl, or wire mesh
- Construct fences using appropriate techniques for different materials, ensuring durability and safety standards are met
- Repair or replace damaged fencing sections promptly to maintain property security and appearance
- Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are understood and executed efficiently
- Perform site preparation activities including digging post holes, leveling ground, and setting foundations
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all phases of fencing installation and maintenance
Skills
- Strong knowledge of general construction practices
- Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, levels, and measuring tapes
- Experience using power tools including post drivers, grinders, drills, and saws for efficient installation
- Ability to interpret blueprints or technical drawings related to fencing projects
- Excellent physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail to ensure precise measurements and high-quality workmanship
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
