About Us
The Governors and Headteacher are seeking to appoint a Part Time Wraparound Care Supervisor (15 hours per week, term time only) to start in September/October 2026. As this is an exciting new venture for Bishop Tufnell School, the post is being offered on a fixed term contract until July 2027. The post is Monday to Friday, 3.00pm to 6.00pm.
The Wraparound Care Supervisor will take an active role in implementing the school's wraparound care provision. They will work as part of a small team to ensuring that all children are well cared for in an environment which is safe, stimulating and inclusive.

Salary: NJC 3 (£24,796 - £25,185 FTE)

What You Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Experience of working in a childcare setting, ideally with primary aged children.
- Understanding of SEND and inclusive practice.
- Experience of working as part of a small team.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organisation and time management skills.
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively to issues that arise.
- Ability to carry out engaging activities.
- Ability to use own initiative and take action accordingly.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and children.
- Commitment to promoting the ethos and values of the school and getting the best
outcomes for all pupils.
- Commitment to safeguarding and equality.
- Deals with difficult situations effectively.
- A calm, caring and approachable manner.
- First Aid Trained (or willingness to complete it)
- Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to complete it)
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent
