Self-Employed Housekeeper – Luxury Holiday Lodge

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, reliable and detail-oriented self-employed housekeeper to join our small team at a luxury countryside lodge.
This is not a standard housekeeping position. We require someone who can work around our guest bookings, carrying out high-quality changeover cleans whenever they arise. Some weeks may have two changeovers, while others may have five or more, so flexibility is essential.

What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out full guest changeover cleans to a consistently high standard
- Preparing bedrooms and bathrooms ready for arriving guests
- Changing bed linen and towels
- Dusting, vacuuming and mopping throughout the property
- Occasional Cleaning kitchens and communal areas
- Restocking guest supplies where required
- Reporting any maintenance issues or damaged items
- Ensuring the lodge is presented beautifully for every arrival
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience cleaning luxury holiday accommodation, Airbnb properties, boutique hotels or similar
- Excellent attention to detail
- Pride in producing immaculate work
- Reliable, trustworthy and professional
- Able to work independently and efficiently
- Self-employed status
- Own transport is essential due to our rural location
- Flexible availability, including weekdays, weekends and Bank Holidays
Working Pattern
This role is completely flexible and based around guest bookings.
There are no guaranteed hours, and workloads will vary throughout the Shooting season. During busy periods there may be several changeovers each week, while quieter periods may have fewer.
Typical changeovers take place between guest departures and arrivals, so applicants should be comfortable working within these timeframes. (Usually around 9am-2pm)
