Social Media Manager (Part Time) — Gateshead

About Us
Renew2U is a Gateshead-based refurbished appliance retailer selling across eBay, Website, Amazon and our physical showroom. We're looking for a social media manager to build our brand presence and drive sales through content that shows off our stock and story.
The Role
You'll manage our presence across all social platforms — including Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, creating and scheduling content, editing video, and driving sales through your own exclusive discount code. Option to utilise current staff members to make content alongside successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow all Renew2U social media channels, including YouTube
- Film, edit and publish engaging content showcasing products, offers and behind-the-scenes footage
- Schedule posts across platforms using a content calendar
- Promote your own unique discount code across content to drive trackable sales
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages
- Track performance and report on what's driving traffic and code usage
- Work with the team to align social content with current stock and promotions
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing social media accounts, ideally for a retail or e-commerce brand
- Confident video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Rush, or similar)
- Good eye for content that sells, not just content that looks nice
- Able to work independently from our Gateshead office, 8 hours per week
