We’re looking for a friendly, energetic Front of House Team Member to join our small, supportive team — someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and genuinely loves great hospitality.
The Role
As a FOH Team Member, you’ll be one of the faces of the pub. You’ll create a warm welcome for every guest, deliver excellent service behind the bar and on the floor, and help maintain the high standards that keep our customers coming back.
This is a hands-on, varied role that requires confidence, teamwork, and the ability to stay calm and positive during busy service.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Greet and serve customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Create a welcoming, community-focused atmosphere
- Handle customer queries confidently and escalate when needed
- Ensure guests have an enjoyable experience from arrival to departure
Bartending
- Prepare and serve drinks efficiently and to a high standard
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation behind the bar
- Demonstrate good product knowledge of beers, wines, spirits, and soft drinks
- Operate tills accurately and responsibly
Floor Service & Food Running
- Run food promptly and accurately from kitchen to tables
- Clear tables quickly and efficiently during and after service
- Reset and maintain table areas to a high standard
- Support the team during busy dining periods
Busy Service & Events
- Work effectively during peak times, including quiz nights and live music events
- Adapt to different service styles depending on the atmosphere
- Support the team to ensure smooth, fast-paced service
General Duties
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Follow health & safety and cleanliness standards
- Work collaboratively with both FOH and kitchen teams

- Ability to stay calm and organised in busy periods
- Previous hospitality experience preferred but not essential
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
