Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on residential and commercial buildings. Your expertise will help ensure the durability, safety, and weather-resistance of our clients' structures. Duties
- Install various roofing materials including slates, tiles, HP felt, EPDM Fatra
- Use hand tools such as hammers, chisels, and pry bars to shape and secure roofing components efficiently.
- Operate power tools including drills, saws, and nail guns safely and effectively during installation projects.
- Conduct heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment while following safety protocols to prevent injury.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to coordinate construction activities on-site.
Skills
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools essential for roofing installation and repairs.
- Construction experience with a focus on roofing projects; familiarity with building codes is a plus.
- Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and best practices for weatherproofing structures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during material handling tasks.
- Full clean driving licence - preferable
