This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced supply chain professional with a strong background in export logistics, customer supply chain management, and team leadership within the drinks or FMCG sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the seamless delivery of products to global markets while leading a high-performing team and driving operational excellence across the supply chain function.
Salary: £55,000 plus Bonus & Benefits
Working Hours: 36 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
- Friday: 08:00 - 14:00
About the Role
As Customer Supply Chain Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end customer fulfilment process, ensuring products are delivered on time, in full, and in compliance with international shipping and export regulations. Working closely with commercial, production, logistics, and external partners, you will drive service excellence, optimise operational performance, and support the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a customer supply chain team of 10+ employees, creating a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Manage the full order-to-delivery process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional customer service.
- Oversee export operations, international shipping activities, and customs documentation, ensuring full regulatory compliance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Sales, Production, Planning, and Logistics to meet customer and market demands.
- Monitor operational performance through key KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service levels and efficiency.
- Support inventory management, working capital objectives, and cost optimisation strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth supply chain execution.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and deliver improvements across the customer supply chain function.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience managing export and international shipping operations within the drinks or FMCG sector.
- Demonstrable leadership experience managing and developing teams of 10 or more employees.
- Strong background in customer supply chain, order fulfilment, logistics, or export operations.
- In-depth knowledge of export documentation, customs requirements, and international trade regulations.
- Experience operating within a fast-paced manufacturing, consumer goods, or FMCG environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Experience using ERP and supply chain management systems.
