Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles for local deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load, unload, and organize inventory within the warehouse using proper lifting techniques
- Verify delivery orders, ensuring accuracy of items shipped and received
- Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and dispatch to coordinate deliveries and pickups
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to promote safety and efficiency
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure proper functioning
- Assist with inventory management, including stock counts and restocking shelves as needed
Requirements
- Proven 7.5t delivery driver experience with a valid driver’s license or equivalent commercial driving license
- Experience operating commercial vehicles such as trucks or vans
- Prior warehouse experience with heavy lifting and physical tasks required
- Strong communication skills for clear interaction with team members and customers
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy items safely
- Knowledge of driving safety regulations and best practices in transportation
- Reliable work ethic with punctuality and attention to detail

Pay: £14.00-£15.50 per hour
