Nursery Room Leader – Hackney, London
£32,000 – £34,000 per year | Full-time, Permanent
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Nursery Room Leader to join our friendly and well-established Hackney nursery. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident early years professional who enjoys leading a team and delivering high-quality care and education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a room team to deliver outstanding practice
- Plan, observe and assess children’s learning in line with EYFS
- Act as a Key Person and build strong relationships with families
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health & safety and environment
- Support staff development, inductions and supervisions
- Work closely with management and support daily nursery operations
Requirements:
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
- Previous experience as a strong Practitioner, Senior or Room Leader
- Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Passionate, reliable and team-focused
- Curiosity Approach experience desirable

Hours: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
Requirements: Enhanced DBS, two references, right to work in the UK
