Overview
We are a small, dynamic fabrication business based in Marsh Lane, Portbury, Bristol, seeking a skilled welder to join our team. If you're a passionate and experienced welder looking for a rewarding career, we invite you to apply.
The ideal candidate should have experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong ability to fabricate architectural metalwork and the ability to work with various tools, and materials. This will be working on a self employed basis. Rate of pay is dependant on experience. Flexible days are available.
Duties
- Weld and fabricate metal components using different welding techniques
- Operate power tools and hand tools effectively
- Utilise mechanical knowledge to assemble parts accurately
- Work with steel and fabricate efficiently from drawings
- Perform stick welding as required
- Ability to run a job from fabrication to fitting
Skills
- Must have full clean driving license
- Proficient in welding and fabrication techniques
- Competent in using power tools and hand tools
- Strong mechanical knowledge for assembling components
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
- Preferably minimum 3 years experience
- Ability to wet spray is an advantage but not necessarily required
Job Types: Full-time, Freelance
Pay: £15.44-£20.00 per hour
