Are you an exciting, energetic and engaging teacher and looking to do some part-time private tuition? Are you based in Surrey and interested in face to face, one to one and small group teaching in and around your local borough?
At the Capital Tuition Group, we are looking to recruit dynamic, motivated interpersonal and qualified teachers. You will be perfect for this role if you are training/have trained as a teacher and work/have worked in schools. We are looking for Maths & English qualified teachers who can tutor and who can operate in and around the Surrey Heath / Guildford area - and who are familiar with Functional Skills.
HERE’S A BREAKDOWN OF WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Go to clients’ location and tutor your specialist subject(s) to help your students boost their grades and confidence (this role is specifically for in person but the successful application might also be interested to teach additional clients online with us).
- Plan and deliver personalised tutorials.
- Give feedback to clients about progress.
- Small group tutoring - ratios form 1:1 to 1:4
DO YOU HAVE THE ESSENTIALS?
Qualified teacher
SEND/SEMH experience highly preferrable
Must have daytime weekday availability
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Have a positive, approachable and encouraging demeanour.
Enhanced DBS Check and on the DBS Update Service

Capital Tuition Group was founded by Matthew Curnier in September 2015. CTG is looking to expand its tutor base to match client demand. Tutors can determine their own rates and their own working times.
