Hotel Porter
We are looking for a FULL TIME Hotel Porter to expand our portering team. This role is incredibly varied working throughout the hotel. You will be working in both our Housekeeping department as a Linen Porter and throughout the Hotel as a hotel porter
You could be:
- greeting guests and carrying luggage to and from their room
- showing guests to their room and explaining the facilities
- looking after keys and left luggage
- answering guests’ questions about the hotel and local points of interest
- assisting the concierge team
- moving furniture and setting up rooms for conferences and private dining
- organising room service
- serving tea and coffee
- clearing tables
- laying and looking after fires
- working in Housekeeping as a Linen Porter
- carrying Linen upstairs
- carrying Linen to the laundry
- cleaning toilets
- stocking up service areas
- assisting Housekeeping
You need to be
- Customer-focused
- Flexible in your approach
- Good at time management
- Good at prioritising jobs
- Able to carry heavy loads and move furniture
- Able to work shifts - early 7am to 3pm and late 3pm to 11pm and weekends
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.71 per hour
