OCD Cleaning Services – Newport & Surrounding Areas
OCD Cleaning Services is growing, and we’re looking for reliable, friendly people to join our cleaning team.
This role is particularly well suited to working parents or anyone looking for a job that fits around school hours and family commitments. The position is part-time, employed (not self-employed), with the opportunity to increase hours over time if that suits you.
You’ll be working in a mobile role, cleaning domestic homes, holiday lets, and some office spaces across Newport and the surrounding areas. Because of this, a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
Working hours generally fall between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, with flexibility available for part-time staff to work around school drop-offs, pick-ups, or other commitments. There will also be a requirement to work one weekend day every four weeks, either a Saturday or Sunday, depending on bookings — planned in advance.
Pay meets the National Living Wage, and we also pay travel time and mileage for those using their own vehicles. This is a fully employed role, offering stability, holiday pay, and proper employment rights — unlike many cleaning roles that are self-employed.
Full training is provided, so previous cleaning experience isn’t essential. What matters most is reliability, attention to detail, and a friendly, professional approach when working in customers’ homes.
