- Carry out routine LOLER and weight test inspections as required by UK Law
- Keep vans and working areas clean and tidy,
- Responsible for maintaining and recording stock levels both workshop and van stock
- Maintain and look after company tools
- Provide engineering support by answering customer queries and requests.
- To complete and submit all required paperwork and produce accurate job records in a timely manner
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; training courses as and when appropriate (overnight stays may be required)
- A flexible attitude to working hours is essential. As a 24hr operation we require all service engineers to take their turn covering on call.
- Specialist training provided for successful applicant.
- All engineers, when fully trained, will be placed on an on-call rota to cover out of hours breakdowns. Best rates of pay in the industry are paid for the right candidate when proven.
- Ability to work well within a team, but able to work on own initiative and manage own time effectively is essential.
- Working as part of a team of Tail Lift Engineers reporting to the Operations Manager.
- This role would preferably suit an experienced Tail Lift Engineer, although consideration will be given to knowledgeable Mechanical/ Electrical Engineers and Motor Vehicle Technicians with similar experience or with mechanical knowledge.
