Thermal Insulation & Trace Heating Operative
Location: Sheffield & Nationwide
Working Pattern: Full-time, 38 hours per week, plus occasional weekend work
We are currently recruiting for a Thermal Insulation Operative with trace heating experience to join the Powertherm team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and skilled individual to develop their career within a growing, supportive business while working on projects in Sheffield and nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
· Measure, cut and fit insulation and cladding systems accurately and safely
· Install and maintain thermal insulation systems to client specifications
· Take responsibility for your own health and safety and contribute to the safety of others on site
· Adhere to risk assessments, method statements and site procedures
· Bring health and safety concerns to the attention of the Site Supervisor
Trace Heating Duties
· Identify pipework, equipment and systems requiring trace heating
· Install trace heating elements to pipes and hoppers
· Terminate cables into junction boxes
· Complete testing and certification activities
· Carry out work in line with relevant regulations, permits and safety standards
· Read and interpret isometric drawings, specifications and installation information
· Support team members on site to complete work safely, efficiently and to the required standard
Candidate Requirements
· TICA Card (CSCS)
· Experience of trace heating installation and testing
· Experience of Thermal Insulation
· Able to work nationwide
· Will be expected to travel to sites across the UK
· Flexible to undertake weekend work
· Full UK driving licence
· Able to read CAD drawings
· Organised, methodical and detail-oriented
· Good communication skills
