BTE Plant Sales are looking for an experienced, confident, motivated and enthusiastic Parts Advisor to join the team at our Head Office in Markfield, Leicester.
You will be working in a fast-paced parts environment dealing with construction machinery. The successful candidate will be organised and capable of multi-tasking and working pro-actively. You will also have previous experience working within a parts department or similar role. You will primarily be dealing with customers over the phone and face to face so must have a high standard of customer service and an exceptional telephone manner. Customer service and support is at the forefront of everything we do at BTE and this role is very much customer service focussed. The role will include an element of outbound sales and following up on previously issued quotations. Additionally, your role involves stock checks and order processing, using IBCOS Gold software.

Responsibilities
- Taking customer phone calls, answering queries and giving prices and lead times
- Replying to queries received via email or website
- Serving customers who come in to the office and preparing their orders
- Processing customer orders, from invoicing to arranging deliveries
- Updating customers with progress reports
- Following up customer quotations
- Working with and supporting the team of Technicians
- Carry out stock checks accurately and record and input data
- Developing your product knowledge and knowledge of the business
Requirements
- Previous experience in a parts department.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy with stock.
- Willingness to undertake product training.
- Experience in a construction , agricultural or automotive industry would be advantageous.
