Overview
Join our dynamic construction team as a skilled Telehandler Operator, Excavator Operator, or Roller Operator! In this vital role, you will be at the forefront of heavy equipment operation, ensuring efficient and safe execution of construction projects. Your expertise will help move materials, and lay the foundation for successful infrastructure development.
This is working in a crane rail docklands environment at London Gateway. PTS certification for rail industry working would be desired however not essential. CSCS card and manual handling and small tool tickets required.
Shift timings are 07.00am to 17.00pm and will be three blocks of twelve 12 shifts followed by a weekend off
Responsibilities
- Operate telehandlers, excavators, and rollers with precision to handle materials, earthmoving, and compaction tasks.
- Follow detailed safety protocols during all operations to prevent accidents and maintain a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines.
- Assist with site preparation activities by moving heavy loads and shaping terrain as directed by supervisors.
- Adhere to all company policies and legal regulations related to heavy machinery operation and safety procedures.
Experience
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators, telehandlers, or rollers on construction sites.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of construction equipment and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus and safety awareness.
Pay: £18.00-£22.00 per hour
