We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring the integrity of our accounting processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a well established business with turnover circa £6.5mil. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and proficient with various accounting software platforms.
Responsibilities
- Record and reconcile financial transactions using both Sage & bespoke in house software – full training will be given
- Manage accounts payable by processing invoices, verifying expenses, and ensuring timely payments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and journals
- Assist with bank reconciliations and prepare financial reports as needed
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes
- Handle general administrative duties related to bookkeeping tasks
· Manage monthly payroll
- Reporting directly to the company directors

- Proficiency in accounting software
