About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Healthcare Assistant Support Workers to join a dedicated care team supporting a gentleman with complex healthcare needs within the family home.
This is a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality, person-centred care while supporting the client’s health, development, comfort, and wellbeing. You will work closely with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure care is delivered safely, consistently, and in accordance with the client’s individual care plan.
Please note previous complex care experience is essential.
Role Description:
The role involves being able to commit to several shifts per week on rota at our client’s home.
You will deliver safe, high-quality care in accordance with the individual’s care plan and clinical protocols which includes but is not limited to:
- Support with all aspects of personal care and daily living activities.
- Monitor and record observations, reporting any concerns promptly and appropriately.
- Assist with clinical interventions following training and competency assessments.
- Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with family members, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.
- Promote dignity, respect, safeguarding, and person-centred care at all times.
Planning for the future:
- Planning of our clients’ goals, with support from Case Manager and MDT Team
- Work closely with all members of the MDT.

· Experience of Clients with Complex care needs - Essential
· Previous experience of moving and handling – Desirable (training will be given)
· Fun loving and bubbly personality – Essential
· Experience supporting individuals with complex care needs
· A calm and reassuring approach.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· A commitment to delivering high standards of person-centred care.
· Good literacy and record-keeping skills.
· Driver – (Essential) with full clean UK license.
· No Smokers (Essential) - Due to the nature of our client’s condition(s)
· Fully Flexible (Essential).
Due to the needs of the client and the requirements of the role, candidates must be able to communicate effectively in spoken and written English.
