As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting people living in our nursing home. You will provide practical, personal and emotional support, helping individuals maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life. Our residents may have a range of needs, including dementia, disabilities, mental health conditions and long-term health conditions.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting residents with personal care, including washing, dressing and grooming.
- Assisting with mobility and the safe use of mobility aids.
- Supporting residents with eating, drinking and nutrition.
- Providing companionship, reassurance and emotional support.
- Encouraging participation in activities and meaningful daily experiences.
- Helping maintain a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment.
- Observing and reporting any changes in residents' wellbeing.
- Updating care records accurately using our digital care system.
- Working as part of a caring, professional team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

Experience & Qualifications
- No formal qualifications are required.
- Previous care experience is welcomed but not essential.
- Experience in a customer-facing role would be beneficial.
- Willingness to complete the Care Certificate during induction.
- Commitment to ongoing training and development.
