Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Night Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to individuals in a care home, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The Night Care Assistant will work closely with care teams to implement care plans and promote independence among service users.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents or clients with morning and evening activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Support individuals with their personal care needs while respecting their dignity and privacy.
- Follow care plans accurately to deliver tailored support based on individual requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the condition of service users.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, service users, and their families to ensure consistent care delivery.
- Assist with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all individuals under your care at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Good organisational skills to follow detailed care plans accurately.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation.
