SEN TA for Special Needs School required:
A lovely SEN school in the Gloucester region are looking for experienced TA's who have a passion for helping children with a range of additional needs.
SEN Teaching Assistant must have:
- Have experience working with children with SEN on 1:1 basis or in classes
- Training or experience in non-verbal communication: Makaton, PECS
- Be Team Teach trained or other forms of behaviour management and know how to utilise these techniques
- Experience of working with children who are semi-verbal
- Experience supporting students with challenging behaviour
- Be flexible, proactive and patient
- Be able to communicate effectively within a team
- Be committed to work full-time
