About the role:
Working closely with the Head of Finance you will oversee and engage in day-to-day finance operations, support income generating activities, prepare financial plans, budgets and manage finance staff.
Responsibilities:
· Perform costings for college and supported living
· Invoicing for placements and credit control, contact with local authorities and parents.
· Prepare financial information in conjunction with the Head of Finance
· Supervise and assist with monthly payroll and pensions
· Work with Head of HR to ensure salaries are correct
· Ensure robust financial controls and accurate recording of data
· Control banking and petty cash
· Prepare information for annual audit and engage with auditors as required
· Assist in creation of budgets and consolidation of Mount budget
· Ad-hoc tasks as required.

The Mount Camphill Community is located on the outskirts of Wadhurst, on the borders of East Sussex and Kent. We are a successful independent residential specialist college for young people (aged 16–25) with a range of learning disabilities. Alongside the college we have established a Co‑housing Community with adults with learning disabilities.
This community environment offers a distinctive approach to education and supported living, providing for the social, emotional and spiritual development of young people and adults with special needs through safe, shared living and integration with the wider community. Terms: Permanent part-time 4 days per week reporting to the Head of Finance
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 FTE
Requirements: Part qualified / qualified by experience.
