Supreme Academy provides football training programmes for young people who have been signed by professional clubs, those who are still aspiring, or anyone who simply wants to play and train for fun.
We are currently recruiting a passionate and committed Football Coach to lead one of our school teams in Bedford, Bedfordshire. The team will be competing in a local league from September, and we are looking for a coach who can help develop players both on and off the pitch in a positive and engaging environment.
The successful applicant must be available one weekday evening per week from 5:00pm onwards and weekend mornings, for training sessions and league fixtures. There will also be opportunities to take on additional coaching sessions across our wider programmes.
We are looking for a coach who can create a fun, energetic and nurturing environment while maintaining high standards and helping players develop technically, tactically and socially.
YOU MUST BE WILLING TO UNDERGO A NEW DBS CHECK
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Introduction to Coaching Football Certificate (formerly FA Level 1)
- Minimum of one year's experience coaching football to children and young people
- Ability to lead training sessions independently
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Desirable:
- Experience managing or assisting a grassroots football team
- Experience coaching teams in league fixtures and matchday environments
- First Aid certificate/training
- Experience working within schools or community football programmes
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging weekly training sessions
- Manage the team on match days and represent Supreme Academy professionally
- Support the development and wellbeing of all players
- Communicate effectively with parents, players and academy staff
- Ensure all sessions are delivered in line with safeguarding and health & safety requirements
- Assist with player recruitment and retention where required

Pay: £15.00-£30.00 per hour
