EARLY YEARS ASSISTANT (Maternity Cover)
30.5 hours per week – starting 29th June 2026
We currently have an opportunity for an Early Years Assistant to join our reliable, hardworking and efficient team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic assistant who:
- has achieved a level 3 qualification that is recognised on the Care Council for Wales’ current list of Accepted Qualifications for the Early Years
- has a sound understanding of Early Years principles & practice and
- would:
➢ contribute to planning and record keeping.
➢ supervise & interact effectively with children during the sessions.
➢ support children consistently whilst recognising and responding to their individual needs.
➢ promote inclusion.
The work pattern for this role is:
12 hrs Three Year Old Provision + 18.5 hrs Flying Start Provision
Monday – Friday Full days during term
