Production / General Worker (Monday–Friday, Day Shifts)

About Us
Luscombe Drinks is the UK’s leading producer of organic soft drinks, juices, and mixers. All our drinks are crafted on-site at our Devon farm, using organic and wild ingredients blended with Dartmoor spring water.
The Role
We are seeking a reliable Production Operator to join our team at our Buckfastleigh site. This is a full-time, permanent role with an immediate start available.
The role is hands-on and physically demanding, working in a fast-paced food production environment. You will be part of a small, high-performing team and must be able to work efficiently, safely, and with attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Manually handle and measure ingredients for drink production
- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment safely
- Work efficiently on bottling and packaging lines
- Use online systems via handheld devices for tracking production and inventory
- Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records
- Clean and sanitise machinery and work areas
- Organise work to support the following day’s production
- Support the team to minimise downtime and maintain production flow
Requirements
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Self-motivated and able to work independently when required
- Organised and proactive, particularly in planning ahead
- High attention to detail to meet quality standards
- Good communication skills
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Comfortable using digital systems and handheld devices
Desirable (but not essential)
Forklift licence (an advantage)
Working Hours
Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Set shift pattern
No weekend working
