We’re looking for a friendly, confident and organised Service Receptionist to join our busy and growing automotive business.
If you enjoy dealing with people, love cars and thrive in a busy environment, this could be the perfect role for you.
You’ll be an important part of our team and the first point of contact for our customers, helping to make sure every customer receives the friendly, professional service we pride ourselves on.
You’ll work alongside our experienced technicians and management team, keeping everything running smoothly from the moment a customer books their vehicle in to the moment they drive away.
What will you be doing?
* Taking calls and dealing with customer enquiries
* Booking vehicles into our busy workshop
* Welcoming customers and providing a friendly, professional service
* Creating job cards and keeping customer information up to date
* Liaising with technicians and keeping up to date with vehicle repairs
* Keeping customers informed throughout their vehicle’s time with us
* Preparing estimates, quotations and invoices
* Obtaining authorisation for additional repairs
* Taking payments and dealing with customer collections
* Booking MOTs, servicing, diagnostics and repairs
* Building great relationships with our customers
* Carrying out general computer and office administration
* Helping the workshop and management team wherever needed
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is friendly, approachable and confident, with a great attitude and a genuine desire to provide excellent customer service.
You’ll need to be able to multitask and stay organised when things get busy. Our workshop can be fast-paced, so being able to remain calm, professional and positive is important.
You’ll ideally have:
* Previous experience in a customer service, reception or service advisor role
* Experience within the motor trade would be a big advantage
* Good computer skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Great attention to detail
* A professional and friendly telephone manner
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
* A genuine interest in cars and the automotive industry
