This is an exciting opportunity to learn from experienced recruiters while working with some of the UK's leading engineering and defence professionals.
Salary: £8.00 per hour + £350 bonus per placement, with significant salary increases on successful completion of the apprenticeship and proven performance.
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm)
Hybrid Working: Office-based Monday-Wednesday, Work from Home Thursday & Friday
What you'll be doing
As part of our recruitment team, you'll learn how to:
- Write and advertise vacancies across multiple job platforms.
- Search for and identify high-quality candidates.
- Review CVs and shortlist suitable applicants.
- Arrange interviews between candidates and clients.
- Build relationships with experienced engineering professionals.
- Maintain accurate records using our recruitment system.
- Support the wider recruitment team with administration and recruitment projects.
- Develop an understanding of the engineering and defence recruitment market.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who is:
- Confident speaking to new people over the phone.
- Highly motivated and driven to earn commission.
- Organised with excellent attention to detail.
- A strong communicator with a positive attitude.
- Comfortable speaking with senior professionals.
- Keen to learn and develop a long-term career in recruitment.
- Interested in engineering or defence (desirable but not essential).
Essential Requirements
You'll need:
- GCSE English Grade 4/C or above.
- GCSE Maths Grade 4/C or above.
