We are a well established, family run business specialising in the manufacture of high quality woodburning and multi fuel stoves. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a practical and reliable person to join our friendly team as a Woodburning Stove Technician.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in producing quality products. No previous experience in the stove industry is required as full product training will be provided.
The Role
As a Woodburning Stove Technician, you will be responsible for assembling bespoke woodburning stoves to customer specifications. Each order is built to individual requirements, making attention to detail and organisational skills key to ensuring every stove is completed accurately and to the highest standard.
You will be working within a small, close-knit team meaning you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the workshop.
This is a varied position and duties may change per day, depending on the workload and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble woodburning stoves in accordance with customer orders and company standards
- Follow assembly instructions accurately
- Use hand tools safely and effectively
- Carry out quality checks throughout the assembly process
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment
- Assist with general workshop duties as required
- Work closely with colleagues to meet production schedules and deadlines
What we are looking for in a candidate:
- A practical and hands-on approach to work
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience using hand tools is preferred, but not essential
