South Devon Construction Group is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee a varied portfolio of modern and heritage building projects.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can confidently manage several live projects at once, maintain high standards on site and keep clients informed throughout the construction process.
Our work ranges from renovations, extensions and property improvements to projects involving older and traditionally constructed buildings.
Essential requirements
* Previous experience managing construction projects - modern and heritage properties
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
* Strong knowledge of construction processes and sequencing
* Experience coordinating different trades and suppliers
* Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills
* Confident and professional client communication
* Ability to work independently and take responsibility for project delivery
* Own transport
* Will travel to projects around Newton Abbot and the surrounding areas
* Able to work on a self-employed basis
* Surveying prospective projects and leads
The ability to attend prospective projects, survey the required work and help establish an initial scope is desirable.
