James Ray Recruitment are working with a reputable and growing law firm seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor (3+ years PQE) to join its expanding Commercial Litigation team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated solicitor looking to handle high-quality, complex and varied commercial litigation work within a supportive and ambitious legal environment. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload while also supporting senior fee earners on larger and more complex matters.
Reporting directly to the Partner/Head of Commercial Litigation, you will play a key role in delivering an efficient, well-organised and client-focused legal service.
Responsibilities
- Adopt a tenacious and commercially focused approach to litigation, consistently striving to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
- Act promptly and proactively while maintaining a strong focus on clients’ best interests.
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and a high level of diligence across all casework.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, colleagues, counsel and other stakeholders.
- Identify legal risks and provide clear advice on prospects, strategy and costs exposure throughout the lifecycle of each case.
- Maintain consistently high standards of client care and service delivery.
- Apply strong tactical and strategic legal skills with a clear commercial focus.
- Work collaboratively with teams across the firm, including Real Estate, Corporate and Finance, to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, proactive case management and exceptional service.
- Ensure compliance with clients’ Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and agreed deadlines.
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously, ensuring all matters progress efficiently and are completed within required timescales.
- Prioritise and manage a high-volume caseload effectively within a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain accurate, comprehensive and up-to-date records across all ongoing matters.
Experience
- Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE and strong technical and procedural knowledge of commercial litigation.
- Demonstrable ability and enthusiasm to manage an independent caseload from inception through to resolution.
- Experience handling complex and varied commercial litigation matters.
- Ability to support Partners and senior members of the team on larger and more complex cases.
- Strong analytical, drafting and case management skills.
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced legal environment.
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach to achieving the best outcomes for clients.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards of accuracy and client service.
- Keen to contribute to a high-performing team handling high-quality commercial litigation work.

Pay: £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
